			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Circolano da diversi giorni delle indiscrezioni sulle specifiche dell&#8217;intera nuova famiglia di schede video AMD, le cui fasce medie e basse probabilmente in arrivo entro questo quadrimestre finale del 2011, per la fascia alta probabilmente si dovrà attendere il Q1 2012. <p>Come possiamo osservare dalla tabella, tutti i nuovi chip verranno stampati con tecnologia produttiva a 28nm; interessante l&#8217;adozione dell&#8217;architettura VLIW4 (Very Long Instruction Word) sulle fascie medie e basse, ereditata dalla HD 69xx. Sulla fascia alta troviamo l&#8217;architettura GCN (Graphics Core Next) che introdurrà un nuovo livello di scalabilità delle prestazioni.</p>

<p>Interessante inoltre la 7870 che, sulla carta, entra in diretta competizione con l&#8217;attuale 6970 abbattendo del 50% dei consumi e regalando 10 MHz in più sul core e 300 MHz in più sulle memorie.</p>
<p>Sulla fascia alta, oltre alla nuova architettura della GPU, troviamo le memorie XDR2 (sviluppate da Rambus) che garantirà un ragguardevole incremento prestazionale</p>
<p>Che dire: i progressi ci sono, prepariamoci a quest&#8217;aggiornamento di piattaforma!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In arrivo la <strong>Sapphire HD 6850 in versione Vapor-X</strong>, l&#8217;acclamata versione studiata per garantire un&#8217;ottima dissipazione senza rinunciare alla silenziosità del sistema tramite l&#8217;ormai consolidato sistema a camera di vapore.</p>

<p>L&#8217;architettura rimasta invariata rispetto alla versione standard, è dotata di un chip con 960 Stream Processors operanti a 800 MHz (25 in più) ed 1 GB di memoria GDDR5 operante a 1100 MHz (100 in più). Vengono richiesti due connettori a 6-pin ed un alimentatore da almeno 500W per alimentare correttamente la scheda video. A strizzare l&#8217;occhio agli overclockers che esigono di più da questa scheda abbiamo ben 10 fasi di alimentazione, la bobina di alimentazione brevettata Black Diamond, ed il software proprietario Sapphire TriXX.</p>

<p>Questa scheda è predisposta per la tecnologia Eyefinity di AMD per l&#8217;utilizzo multi-monitor tramite i seguenti connettori: 1x Dual-link DVI ed 1x Single-Link DVI, 1x HDMI 1.4a (che permette dei colori più profondi, audio ad alto bitrate 7.1, supporto al 3D stereoscopico), 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x Mini-DisplayPort. Personalmente, con una scheda simile, non sentirei la mancanza della porta VGA.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Prezzo e data di commercio non sono stati ancora resi noti, ma molto probabilmente si assesterà sulla fascia inferiore ai 170 Euro occupata dalla sorella maggiore, la <strong>6870 Vapor-X</strong>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sempre al computex 2011 è stata presentata la nuova scheda video di MSI destinata alla fascia alta del mercato, N580GTX Lightning Xtreme Edition è il suo nome, dotato di una peculiarità tutta nuova, il reverse fan.</p>
<p>La memoria questa volta arriva all&#8217;esorbitante ampiezza di 3 Gbytes con bus a 384bit. Il sistema di raffreddamento è custom-made, basato sulla soluzione Twin Frozr III.</p>
<p>Il reverse fan fa si che le ventole di raffreddamento ruotino in senso contrario per i primi 30 secondi dall&#8217;accensione della scheda video, facendo il modo che l&#8217;eventuale polvere depositata sulle alette del sistema di raffreddamento si possa spostare, per poi riprendere la rotazione normale dal 31° secondo. Sicuramente la polvere spostata verrà riassorbita da altre ventole nel case, ma per ora il metodo sembra interessante.</p>

<p>Resolved Issues for the Windows 7 Operating System<br />
This section provides information on resolved known issues in this release of the AMD Catalyst 11.5 software suite for Windows 7. These include:</p>
<p>PowerDVD no longer randomly crashes when HDMI 8 Channel Audio is enabled.<br />
Avivo settings are now correctly displayed in the AMD Vision Engine Control Center after connecting a secondary display.<br />
Windows Media Player no longer randomly hangs or displays a black screen after playing VC1 (WMV) video files for over 4 hours.<br />
PowerDVD no longer crashes intermittently after enabling / disabling Crossfire during BD playback.<br />
Bioshock no longer displays visual corruption with Vsynch and MLAA enabled.<br />
Transcoding MPEG-2 video to H.264 no longer causes an application crash.<br />
Transcoding H.264 to AVCHD no longer generates lagging video.</p>
<p>Resolved Issues for the Windows XP Operating System</p>
<p>Civilization V no longer stops responding during game launch when Crossfire is enabled.</p>
<p>Known issues under the Windows 7 operating system<br />
The following section provides a summary of open issues that may be experienced under the Windows 7 operating system in the latest version of AMD Catalyst. These include:</p>
<p>Some BD content may experience jittery playback using WinDVD.<br />
Quake 4 may display random horizontal corruption during gameplay.<br />
Random tearing might be observed while playing Riddick 2 with high game settings and Crossfire enabled. (This issue has been resolved with the Catalyst 11.5a hotfix)<br />
Random video jitter may be observed while playing 1080i BD video with Aero mode disabled.<br />
Kings Bounty may display rendering issues.<br />
The mouse cursor may lag in some situations. (This issue has been resolved with the Catalyst 11.5a hotfix)</p>
<p>Known Issues under the Windows Vista Operating System<br />
The following section provides a summary of open issues that may be experienced under the Windows Vista operating system in the latest version of AMD Catalyst™. These include:</p>
<p>Windows Aero may be disabled after installing the driver.<br />
Doom 3 and Quake 4 may display random corruption with HD 4770 series products.<br />
Performing bezel compensation with a 3 x 2 Eyefinity configuration may cause the bezel group to disappear.<br />
Video settings may be turned off in the AMD Vision Control Center after extending the desktop to a second display.<br />
Cyberlink software bay cause the screen to flash green after desktop resolution is changed.</p>
<p>Known Issues under the Windows XP Operating System<br />
The following section provides a summary of open issues that may be experienced under the Windows XP operating system in the latest version of AMD Catalyst™. These include:</p>
<p>OpenGL games may cause the system to hang when launched with Super AA enabled.<br />
The system may randomly reboot while playing Star Wars – The Force Unleashed II.</p>
<p>Per quanto riguarda gli 11.5a Hotfix, questi driver sono indirizzati soprattutto per le schede Amd 6600.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ormai ogni settimana parliamo di una nuova scheda video di prossima uscita, ed anche oggi quindi vi segnaliamo una novità nel mercato delle gpu, stiamo parlando della <strong>GeForce GTX 560</strong> e del suo possibile arrivo sul mercato. Le indiscrezioni parlando del fatto che sia la seconda scheda grafica sviluppata su GPU GF114, dopo GeForce GTX 560 Ti.</p>
<p>Sempre secondo le fonti in rete, pare che questa scheda verrà commercializzata con <strong>336 shader</strong>, 56 texture units e 32 ROPs: alla GPU saranno affiancate 1GB di memoria video GDDR5 e bus di memoria da 256-bit. Il tutto accompagnato da una frequenza della gpu non inferiore a 800MHz.</p>
<p>Ovviamente la notizia in questione non è ufficiale ma vi invitiamo a restare sintonizzati per scoprirne di più!</p>

La cosa interessanche che caratterizza [...]]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dopo l&#8217;ondata di schede video uscite in questi mesi eccoci a parlare di un&#8217;altra azienda anch&#8217;essa molto conosciuta, stiamo parlando di Point of View, che quest&#8217;oggi sforna una scheda video di tutto rispetto dedicata al mondo del modding e dell&#8217;overclock, infatti è disponibile la nuova GeForce GTX 590 Beast edition.</p>
<p>La cosa interessanche che caratterizza questa scheda è appunto il &#8220;Beast Edition&#8221; che altro non è che la presenza di un  water block Aquagrafx per garantire un raffreddamento ottimale della scheda in questione, consentendo anche overclock più stabili e soprattutto più elevati!</p>
<p>Per facilitare il lavoro ai meno esperti di overclock però, POV commercializza la scheda con un bell&#8217;overclock di fabbrica, infatti la scheda sarà commercializzata con la GPU operante a 691MHz (1382MHz gli shader) e le memorie a 3701MHz. L&#8217;unica pecca è che ovviamente resta un prodotto di nicchia, solo per chi possiede un raffreddamento a liquido o intende crearlo, e soprattutto per chi è disposto a spendere la bellezza di 800€ per una scheda video.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mese ricco di novità quello che stiamo vivendo, visto che dopo le varie Geforce 550 Ti e compagnia bella la scelta diventa sempre più ampia, e non si ferma neanche amd, dovrebbe arrivare sul mercato infatti anche <strong>Radeon HD 6790</strong>, scheda che va a competere direttamente con <strong>GeForce GTX 550 Ti</strong> .<br />
Questa scheda pare sarà basata su<strong> GPU Barts</strong>, con il dovuto abbassamento di frequenze (che ci chiediamo se sarà possibile sbloccare con un flash del bios come per le 6950 che diventano 6970, in pratica parliamo di una versione di Radeon HD 6850 meno potente.</p>
<p>Il lancio secondo fonti non ufficiali è per il 31 Marzo, quindi tra soli 2 giorni, da prendere con cautela ovviamente visto che la notizia non è ufficiale, così come il prezzo che pare si aggiri intorno ai 130 dollari americani, insomma restate con noi per saperne di più.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Oggi diventa realtà la nuovissima Geforce GTX 590, che sarà equipaggiata con due gpu GF110 sullo stesso pcb, e quindi è guerra aperta con la rivale AMD che propone invece la Radeon HD 6990 anch&#8217;essa dual gpu. Ovviamente inutile dire che la scheda in questione andrà ad occupare il posto più alto nel segmento delle schede di fascia alta, diventando quindi top di gamma. La scheda in questione infatti vanta 1024 shader (512&#215;2) cui sono stati affiancati 3GB di memoria video GDDR5, in grado di garantire prestazioni da record consentirà anche a tutti gli utenti di usufruire della tecnologia Nvidia 3D Visio surround con una sola scheda video, senza quindi bisogno di configurazioni sli.</p>
<p>Oltre questo Sarà anche possibile dedicare una delle due gpu alla sola gestione della fisica, insomma una scheda sicuramente dedicata a chi pretende il massimo, ed anzi vuole avere anche potenza extra non utilizzata, a patto però di avere anche un portafogli bello pieno.
